I've worked as a telephone consultant for many years. From the start, I was aware that working over the phone had great benefits for both the customers and me the reader. In time though, I felt the values of most companies, conflicted with my spiritual ideals. Ideals that I believe I share, with many other readers and my customers alike.

After running the company that I worked for, the frustration of not being able to make the changes to make the company more ethical and Spiritual was too much, I was sure I could have a different kind of company if I started my own from scratch. So I decided to start my own business.

The choices I've made have all been Spirit led. Spirit wants my business to be successful and help as many people as possible, and operate on the highest vibration possible. Following their guidance, I have made decisions that are unheard of in this business.

* We use computers as little as possible. I always answer the phone myself. If the phone is engaged I’ll call you right back. We are "hands on" in our affairs, so I am available for you to handle any questions or queries you have. I am the owner of The Lighthouse so I don’t need to ‘check with the boss and get back to you.” I also answer all emails quickly myself too.

* We have unheard of pay rates. Common industry rates for consultants range from 2p to only 50p per minute. We wouldn't want to employ anyone who values his or her own time or his or her connection to Spirit so little. I knew that I could easily pay vastly more to Rosie than other companies, and by doing this I knew that she would feel safe and secure with her role in our company.

* Rosie and I do all the readings.  Rosie has worked with me for 7 years. We are very close friends. She is the best medium I know. I have tried to hire other readers. But after 3 years of ding test readings with professional phone readers, I have not found anyone who is at our standard. So rather than lower my standards we have not expanded the company and will continue to do everything ourselves. I don’t know of a single psychic company who actually meets their readers before hiring them. Most are hired on the basis of a flimsy application form and a 20 minute test reading. It’s just not good enough!

* When I left the company I was running. It broke my heart, not being able to say anything to my clients. We build up relationships in this business, we read for many of you often and building intimate bonds is unavoidable, it's also a main pleasure of this work. I even offered that company money for permission to tell my clients I was leaving, they refused. That company's policy was to listen in with voice recognition computers and threaten all it's consultants with legal action, to prevent contact information from being exchanged. If Rosie ever left The Lighthouse, we would fully support her. We will even give her forwarding information to any clients wanting to contact her. I want everyone to feel safe here, knowing that relationships can be grown, without fear of them coming to a sudden end.

* At The Lighthouse, we offer more than readings. I write an occaisional letter called The Love Letter. It is free and comes in the post. It is full of information, stories and magic.
